Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar + Srinagar Sightseeing Tour + Shikara ride in the Dal lake

Upon arrival at Srinagar, you will meet our representative at the airport and transfer to the hotel, followed by local sightseeing in Srinagar. En route, visit the carpet-weaving factory and old Srinagar City. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens, along with a visit to Shankaracharya Temple & Hazaratbal Shrine. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake, with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the parks is about 12 to 15 km, respectively.

Shalimar Bagh is India's most extensive Mughal garden, located northeast of Dal Lake near Srinagar city, along with another famous lake garden Nishat Bagh. Nishat Bagh is one of the most beautiful terraced Mughal gardens at the side of the famous Dal Lake near Srinagar. Also, enjoy 1-hour shikara ride in Dal Lake. This boat ride glides you past some wonderful vegetable gardens and aquatic life. Later, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-Day Excursion to Sonmarg

After breakfast, today, proceed to Sonamarg - a most beautiful drive from Srinagar. Sonamarg is closed from November to March. It is 98 km from Srinagar. It will take about 3 hours to reach Sonamarg. Sonamarg is the last stop in Kashmir District. It is where the territory of Ladakh starts. Situated at an altitude of 2743 m above sea level. Sonamarg is true to its name, 'Meadow of Gold.' When you enter Sonamarg, you will first notice the snow-covered mountain that forms the town's backdrop. Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonamarg has the loveliest flower collection in Jammu and Kashmir. The vehicle will take you to the main parking only.

You can visit the Thajwas Glacier, 3 km from town, by walking or pony ride (at an extra cost payable directly), where snow remains around the year. Thajiwas Glacier is among the most adventurous treks from Sonmarg. The tour passes through lush greenery and a frozen lake. From the glaciers, a path leads up the Shakhdar Hill. Tourists can enjoy delightful views of the glacier and its surroundings from the hill. Tourists can enjoy a sled ride in the area even during summer. During the peak season, sleds can be hired from the Gujars, who offer rides across the glacier. The area surrounding the glacier is excellent for camping. The trek to the glacier is one of the most amazing treks you can experience. You can also take a pony ride to the glacier (at your own cost). The trek can be strenuous as it is uphill, and tourists can see beautiful waterfalls and streams on the way. Tourists can walk across the glacier, a unique and thrilling experience. The walk can be slippery because of the snow, but it is worth a try. One can also enjoy a gorgeous view of the high mountain pass Zojila at 3528 m above sea level. A little outside, Sonmarg is a sparkling blue lake surrounded by a lush green meadow. You can also go for a long rafting expedition (at extra cost). Later in the evening, return to Srinagar by the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Full-Day Excursion to Pahalgam

After breakfast, today, proceed to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura, and the village of Bijbehara, which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. In Pahalgam, you can visit Chandanwari (3288 meters above sea level), Aru Valley, and Betab Valley at your own cost by Union Cabs. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second-largest city of Anantnag. From here, the road turns scenic as we move parallel to the Lidder River flowing from the opposite direction.

Later in the evening, return to Srinagar for your overnight stay. Aru Valley is a pristine scenic village situated in the region of Trans-Himalaya. Clear blue canopy over the head, misty surroundings, whispers of the native pines and conifer forests, and beautiful meadows create a captivating diorama for travelers thronging the place. Betaab Valley is a perfect gateway to enjoy the heavenly pleasure of Mother Nature. Earlier known as Hagan Valley or Hagoon, Betaab Valley became its name after the Bollywood movie Betaab was shot there in 1983.

Day 4: Full-Day Excursion to Gulmarg

After breakfast, today, proceed towards Gulmarg (52 km). On reaching Gulmarg, enjoy the panoramic views of the location. The vehicle will drop you at the Gulmarg parking, 1-1.5 km from Gondola. After that, all sightseeing is to be done by walking or taking a horse ride or ATV by paying directly (due to union issues). You can enjoy pony rides to Maharani Temple & St. Mary's Church (at your own cost). A Gondola ride (cable car) is recommended, which takes you to Kongdori (Phase 1) & Apharwat Peak (Phase 2), which is at one of the highest altitudes in Asia.

The two-stage Gondola lift ferries to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Afarwat Peak (4,200 m / 13,780 ft). The first stage takes from the Gulmarg resort at 2,600 m (8,530 ft) to Kongdoori Station in the bowl-shaped Kongdori valley. The second stage of the ropeway, which has 36 cabins and 18 towers, takes skiers to a height of 3,747 m (12,293 ft) on Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Afarwat Peak (4,200 m / 13,780 ft). The timing of the Gondola ride is from 10 AM to 5 PM (subject to change without prior notice; gondola operations are highly dependent upon the weather at both stages). Later, drive back to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay at Srinagar Hotel.

Day 5 : Srinagar Sightseeing + Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast in the morning:

1. Check out from the hotel and proceed to a left-out place on the local sightseeing tour of Srinagar.
2. En route, visit the carpet-weaving factory and old Srinagar City.
3. Later, transfer to Srinagar Airport to board the scheduled Flight for the onward destination.

• The package includes breakfast & dinners at the hotel except on the day of arrival and the date of departure, respectively.
• Day cruising in the Dal Lake for an hour with a Shikara Ride.
• All transfers and sightseeing by AC Sedan / AC SUV Vehicle. (Please note that AC will be switched off during hills. We will provide a sedan for one room booking & an SUV for two rooms booking together)
• You can also upgrade the vehicle to Innova for a single room booking with an additional cost of 600/- per day.
• The vehicle will accommodate three standard baggage per room & the driver may ask for extra payments for excess baggage at his discretion.
• The transportation will be as per the Itinerary given & includes all toll taxes, parking charges, and driver allowances. The driver will charge for any deviation request of the tour route subject to acceptance by the driver.
• All currently applicable hotel taxes except GST @ Current Rate.

Important Notes for Travellers:

• In Gulmarg, the horseman union does not allow vehicles to drop off or pick up guests at/from the Gondola. The association also prohibits all sightseeing tours.
• Aru Valley, Chandanwari, and Betaab Valley at Pahalgam are separate from the itinerary (unless included) due to restrictions by the local transport union.
• You have an hour each to enjoy the picturesque snow-clad mountains and the green valleys of Aru Valley, Betab Valley, and Chandanwadi in Pahalgam. If you wish to spend more time exploring these areas, you must pay the appropriate additional amount to the driver/taxi union.
• Only vehicles allotted by the Local Unions of Pahalgam and Sonmarg can be used for sightseeing in the regions and may differ from the usual standards of Etravego.
• During winter, the road to Sonmarg remains closed, and vehicles can only go to Gagangir.
• For Sonmarg sightseeing, our vehicle will take the guest to the Sonmarg taxi stand. From there, the guest must hire a pony/local Union cab for sightseeing. Glacier and Zero Point at Sonmarg are not included in the tour due to restrictions laid down by the local union.
• Due to a ban on new construction in Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and a few areas of Srinagar, such as Dal Lake and Boulevard Road, some hotels may appear worn. Rest assured; these hotels provide excellent facilities and hospitality.
• In case of road closure due to snow and slippery roads, our vehicle will not be allowed to ply as a precautionary measure. It is as per govt—/administration orders. Only snow jeeps/chained cars are allowed to ply. You can hire these vehicles on a direct payment basis, or we can arrange the same at an additional cost.

• We have tabulated this quotation in INR on the current date of currency exchange rates. 
• The rooms & other services rates are subject to availability during booking/confirmation.
• Similar hotels will be provided in case of non-availability of the quoted accommodation.
• Certain hotels abroad may request a security deposit during check-in, which is refundable at check-out, subject to the hotel policy.
• Specific international destinations attract city tax on the accommodation & the guest is liable to pay it directly at the hotel as per the actuals.
• International Hotel check-in time is from 14.00 hrs onward. & check-out time is at 12.00 hrs.
• Hotel, Sightseeing, Meals, and Transfers rates might change with prior notice once & unless you make the payment.
• We have not added any charges for sightseeing activities on Day at Leisure in the itinerary. The costs will be higher than the pre-booked activities. So you can opt for the optional activities from the given list & pre-book them. Else it would be best if you explored on your own at the destination. Our ground handling team may help you arrange your requirements locally against the direct payment.
• Kindly be on time for your activities, tours, and transfers, or else you may lose the to avail of the service & you will not get any refund or concession for it.
• We will provide the Transportation for the quoted itinerary for both SIC and Private (not at disposal). 
• Anything other than that mentioned in the inclusions attracts extra cost & subject to availability.
• Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar, etc., are not included in the package. 
• Air ticket cost mentioned ( if any ) will be subject to availability & prevailing prices at the time of booking.
• The change in dates will attract re-quote.
• GST 5% will be applicable against the final Invoice (Subject to Payment Made in India).
• TCS 5% will be applicable against the final Invoice for all international travelers against the PAN card & We will provide you the certificate for the amount. You can fill it in your IT returns.
• We will send All your confirmation vouchers 48 hrs before your journey. (Subject to clearance of your payment on time )
• Suppose we cancel your package due to any natural calamity. In that case, weather conditions, etc., Etravego.com shall strive to give you the maximum possible refund subject to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.
• If you fail to make the payment as per the schedule provided in the Proforma Invoice, Etravego.com reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to contact you. Refunds would be as per the package cancellation policy. 
• Please note that if your package includes a flight from a low-cost carrier (Air Asia, Scoot Airlines, Air Arabia, Jetstar, Fly Dubai, Thai AirAsia, Air India Express, Tiger Airways), it won't include any baggage in the package. You can add the Baggage as per your requirement at an additional cost depending on the airlines and destination. Our Travel Consultant will attempt to contact you within 24 hours after the booking gets confirmed for baggage addition. 

Cancellation Policy:

• The guest must give the notice to cancel the Holiday in writing or by mail to our office, and Etravego.com shall refund the tour cost after deducting the cancellation charges.
• From the booking date to 45 days before the departure date, 25 % of the package cost is chargeable.
• From 45 days to 30 days before the departure date, 50 % of the package cost is chargeable.
• From 30 days to 15/21 days before the departure date, respectively, for domestic/ international packages, 75 % of the package cost is chargeable.
• For cancellations within 15/21 days before the departure date, respectively, for domestic/ international packages,100% of the package cost is chargeable.
• In the case of cruises, 100% of the cruise cost paid will be forfeited in case of any cancellations, irrespective of the time of cancellation.   
• The company reserves the right to cancel any Tour before the departure without assigning any reason. In such an event, all monies paid by the guest will be fully refunded immediately in Indian Rupees currency only, but no compensation will be payable.
