The Eiffel Tower

At 324 metres, the iconic Eiffel Tower is the tallest structure in Paris. The Eiffel Tower was erected in 1889. It is now the symbol of the city of Paris! Its history is very interesting, because its design was innovative and different from the architecture of the time, which is why it wasn’t even supposed to remain. It was a temporary construction that was to stay only twenty years. It was built in 1889 to celebrate the French Revolution’s centennial year during the Exposition Universelle at the Champs de Mars. The purpose was to show the other nations the power and the industrial abilities of France! You couldn't possibly visit Paris without seeing the Eiffel Tower. Even if you do not want to visit this world famous structure, you will see its top from all over Paris.

The Louvre

The Louvre Museum is one of the biggest museums in the worlds. Located in the center of the city of Paris, in the right bank of the city, it is a former royal palace! It is aligned with other important landmarks of the city, such as the Concorde Square, and the Arc de Triomphe. Amongst the museum's greatest treasures are da Vinci's Mona Lisa, a Large Sphinx (c. 2000 BC), the Venus de Milo, Michelangelo's Dying Slave and Titian's The Crowning with Thorns. Occupying over 60,000 square metres, the Louvre attracts around 9 million visitors each year, making it the most visited tourist attraction in the world.

The Palace of Versailles

The Palace of Versailles and its surrounding grounds, situated about 20 km to the south-west of central Paris, is a UNESCO world heritage site. The Palace is historically important because it was the home of the French royal court between 1682, when it was established by Louis XIV, and 1789, the start of the French revolution. It also has a continuing political function: heads of state regularly meet there, as do the French Senate and Assembly when debating changes to the constitution. The Palace itself is vast, containing 67 staircases and over 6000 paintings. Large parts of it are accessible to visitors, including the King's and Queen's apartments, the Hall of Mirrors and the Palace's baroque Chapel.

The Musée D'Orsay

The Musée D'Orsay or the Orsay Museum is found on the left bank of the Seine and displays a collection of mainly French art dating from 1850 to 1915. Van Gogh, Monet, Degas are some of the artists whose works are part of the collections. The Orsay Museum was a former train station in 1898 and was converted into a museum in 1986. If you enjoy the Impressionism art movement, you will thoroughly enjoy this museum!

Notre Dame de Paris

Situated on the eastern portion of the Íle de la Cité (the small island in the middle of the Seine) lies Notre Dame de Paris. It is one of the most outstanding cathedrals of France thanks to its Gothic architecture! Notre Dame de Paris is perhaps France’s most famous landmark; standing tall at the heart of the city for centuries, accepting people’s reverence one day and then facing their rejection on another. This resilient, gravity-defying Gothic cathedral survived centuries of France’s turbulent past. It emerged in the 19th century from near ruin, thanks to a massive restoration project. Its many visitors come to admire its stained glass and rose windows, the towers, the steeple and the gargoyles. They can also discover the Notre-Dame treasury and have a go at climbing the towers to enjoy a panoramic view of Paris.

The Arc de Triomphe

Sitting triumphantly at the west end of the Champs-Elysees is one of the most celebrated and iconic monuments in Paris, the Arc de Triomphe. Having stood watch over Paris for almost two hundred years the Arc has seen its share of French history, including its most celebrated and tragic events. Today, the Arc de Triomphe is an easy destination to visit in Paris and should not be missed. It’s really much more than just a monument. It’s also a museum that just happens to offer great views over all of Paris from the viewing deck on top of the structure. And it’s a fitting memorial to France’s military past and also the site of its Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Montmartre

Situated on the right bank of the Seine in the 18th arrondisement is Montmartre. The setting for films such as Amelie, Moulin Rouge and La Vie en Rose, Montmartre was the place of work and inspiration for the likes of Pissarro, Picasso, Modigliani, Van Gogh, Renoir and Degas. Today, there are three principal draws of visiting Montmartre. First is the famous Sacré Coeur church, situated at the top of Montmartre's 130-metre high hill, and its white-domed Basilica. Second is the bustling Place de Tertre, replete with artists, easels, entertainers, coffee tables, multi-coloured umbrellas and atmosphere. Third is Montmartre's nightlife, and cabaret clubs such as Moulin Rouge and Le Chat Noir.

Grossmunster

The Grossmünster is an Evangelical Protestant church in the Old Town of Zurich, and is one of Zurich's most famous landmarks. The two towers of the originally Romanesque Grossmünster offer a great view over Zurich. Legend has it that the church was built on the graves of the city’s patron saints, Felix and Regula. Since the reformation the church has a barren feel, alleviated only by the windows. German artist Sigmar Polke finished 12 simply beautiful windows in 2009, partly made of semi-precious stones. 187 stairs lead from the nave up to the tower vantage point – from where visitors have bird’s-eye views over the Zurich rooftops and lake as well as majestic Alpine summits on the horizon.

Day 2 Guided city tour of Paris. Visit the Eiffel tower 3rd (Top) Level. Take a funicular ride at Montmartre to see the Sacre-Coeur Basilica, Paris's second most visited monument. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Today we proceed for a guided city tour of Paris. Day 3 Enjoy your fun filled day at Disneyland® Paris choice of Disney® Parks or Walt Disney Studios® Park.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Get ready for a day full of excitement at Disneyland Paris- a famous amusement park. Enjoy different kinds of thrill rides and studio movies with your loved ones. You may choose between Disney Parks, where fairy tales take flight across five incredible lands filled with classic attractions, shows, and street parades with Disney Characters, OR you may visit the Walt Disney Studios Park Studios and be astounded by the fantastic stunt shows, watch a film being made and see real-life sets used for creating blockbuster movies. Day 4 Drive to Geneva. Orientation tour of Geneva. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

On arrival, proceed for an orientation tour of Geneva. Day 5 Visit Olympic Museum. Excursion to Mt.Titlis. Drive to Zurich. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Get set for a memorable, magical alpine excursion to Jungfraujoch – The Top of Europe, a high–point of your tour. First, we proceed to Grindelwald Terminal. The new 3S-Bahn Eiger Express takes you from the Grindelwald Terminal to the Eigergletscher station in 15 minutes. You board a cogwheel train to reach the highest railway station in Europe at 11,333 feet – a world of eternal ice and snow. Visit the Ice Palace, where artists create their ice works. Today proceed for an orientation tour of Lucerne - one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Enjoy a scenic cruise on the lake of Lucerne. Visit the Lion Monument, Kapell Brucke, with some free time to shop for famous Swiss watches, knives, and chocolates. Later in the evening, return to your Hotel and overnight in Zurich. 

Day 8 Fly back home(Breakfast)

Cancellation Policy:

  • The guest must give the notice to cancel the Holiday in writing or by mail to our office, and Etravego.com shall refund the tour cost after deducting the cancellation charges.
  • From the booking date to 45 days before the departure date, 25 % of the package cost is chargeable.
  • From 45 days to 30 days before the departure date, 50 % of the package cost is chargeable.
  • From 30 days to 15/21 days before the departure date, respectively, for domestic/ international packages, 75 % of the package cost is chargeable.
  • For cancellations within 15/21 days before the departure date, respectively, for domestic/ international packages,100% of the package cost is chargeable.
