St Stephen’s Basilica
St Stephen’s Basilica is the largest church in Budapest and is a fine example of neoclassical architecture. The church is not only beautiful but is also huge enough to hold up to 8500 people at the same time. The mummified right hand of the patron saint of the church and first king of Hungary is kept in a glass case in the chapel and is Hungary’s most sacred treasure. You can also view the whole of Budapest from the observation deck which is on top of the church’s right tower by using the stairs with 364 steps or you can also take the elevator. The church often hosts many musical concerts performed by some of Hungary’s most praised musicians which also attracts large crowds.
Buda Castle
Buda Castle also known as Royal Palace is a 13th century palace and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is situated on the top of Castle Hill which is one of the famous hills in Budapest and offers panoramic views over Pest and the river. Admire this historical castle and palace complex of the Hungarian kings standing tall in the city of Budapest. The castle also contains the Hungarian National Gallery, the Castle museum and the National Szechenyi Library which houses beautiful artworks and artefacts. Some of the main attractions to check out while you are there are Matthias Fountain, Horseherd, Fishing Children and Lions statue.
Walk along the Danube river
Danube is the lifeline of the Hungarian capital and is home to landmarks such as The Hungarian Parliament building, Margaret Island, Liberty Bridge, Buda Castle Hill and Szechenyi Chain Bridge. Walking along the Danube River will give you spectacular views of the city whether day or night. You can also go for a Danube river cruise and see the fascinating views of the historical city of Budapest . The Danube promenade is a popular place for strolling and there are numerous restaurants, cafes bars and more. You will also pass through The shoes on the Danube river which is a memorial that reflects the war history and its victims who were shot by the river during World War II. It is an art installation created by a Hungarian sculptor called Gyula Pauer and consists of 60 pairs of iron shoes along the Danube representing an unforgettable time in history.
Fisherman’s Bastion
If you want to see some spectacular views across Danube to Pest, there is no better place than Fisherman’s Bastion. This is a one of the famous attractions of the Buda Castle area and is also one of the city’s famous attractions offering a great viewing platform for tourists. Fisherman’s Bastion built between 1895 and 1902 is an impressive neo- Gothic viewing terrace located on the Castle Hill. For photo enthusiasts this place is one of the favoured destinations in Budapest. If you are into hiking, then you can reach the place by walking up from the Danube river bank through hundreds of steps and finally reach the historical Fisherman’s Bastion from where you get beautiful views of Budapest.
Budapest Opera House
Budapest Opera House is a Neo- Renaissance building and is considered as one of the best opera houses in the world in terms of its acoustics. You can either tour the Opera house during the day or enjoy a performance in the evening. The Opera house was built between 1875 and 1884 by one of the famous Hungarian architect Miklos Ybl and can accommodate more than 1200 listeners. The building has hundreds of striking sculptures and paintings of famous musicians and composers. There are opera and ballet performances several times a week in the evenings and is a not to miss if you are an opera or ballet fan.
Hungarian Parliament Building
The Parliament House is a historic and architectural building and is an example of Neo-Gothic architecture. It is over 100 years old and the third largest Parliament building in the world having 691 rooms, 20 kilometers of stairs and 96 meters tall. There are sculptures and statues on the walls and corridors which are worth exploring. When the National assembly is not in session, there are guided tours of the Parliament available. The Hungarian Crown lies in the Dome Hall of the Parliament Building which is well guarded and visitors coming on tour can observe it. The grand staircase inside the building and the Hungarian Parliament museum are other must see attractions in the Parliament Building. The stunning architecture of the building can also be viewed from the banks of Danube River.
Margaret Island
Margaret Island is a tranquil 2.5 kilometres long island on the Danube and is a great place to explore. The island is linked to Buda and Pest by bridges at either end and is ideal for people looking to spend some serenity time away from the city. The island has been converted into a recreational centre but there are still some medieval ruins in the area which you can explore. The island is surrounded with greenery, flowery gardens and has lots of entertainment for visitors. Some of the attractions on the island include cafes, a small zoo, rose garden, musical fountain near Margaret Bridge, water park, playgrounds and more. The island also has a centennial memorial which was built to celebrate 100 years of union of Buda and Pest.
The Central Market Hall
The Central Market Hall is one of the most popular and visited tourist attractions in Budapest. This hall is the largest and oldest covered market of the city located just five minutes away from the city centre. It is a perfect place to buy Hungarian souvenir or taste Hungarian delicacies and is also ideal for sightseeing and clicking pictures. From fresh vegetables to meat and sea food, pickles, fruits and more, this place has a good variety of local produce. The three floors of the market hall have a splendid architecture worth exploring and the market is open from Monday to Saturday. Be it cold or rains, this place is great to stroll around for both tourists and locals.
The Szechenyi Chain Bridge
One of the best things to do in Budapest is walk around the Chain Bridge from where you can get to see both the Buda and Pest side from the middle of the bridge. This prominent landmark of Budapest is a not to miss attraction for visitors. Built in the 19th century the bridge was designed by an English man and supervised by a Scot. The banks of the Danube including the chain Bridge are a part of the UNESCO World Heritage site inscribed in 1987. Take amazing photos and enjoy the stunning views on the bridge with the Danube River flowing below. The view from the Chain bridge becomes more magical at night when the lights of the city reflect in the river.
House of terror museum
House of Terror museum is a historical museum consisting of photos, memorabilia, stories and other things and is one of the most visited museums in Hungary. House of Terror museum depicts how the Hungarians endured the terror regimes of Nazis and Communists. After surviving these two terror regimes the need to present the picture of the Hungarian life in those tragic times led to the construction of this museum. Located at Andrassy Avenue, House of terror museum offers an interactive display of Hungary’s brutal past. The museum presents the terror in a tangible way and is built as a memory for those held captive, tortured and killed.
Thermal baths and spa
Budapest is known for its lively bathing culture and is enjoyed by people of all ages. Budapest is rightly nicknamed as “The City of Spas” and are perfect relaxation places for visitors looking for fun or some kind of relief. Relaxing in thermal water has many healing properties as it helps ease joint pain, arthritis and also help improve blood circulation. You can easily spend a couple of hours in any of the thermal baths all of which have a similar layout consisting of indoor thermal pools, steam rooms, saunas, ice cold pool and massage rooms. As they are thermal pools, most of them are open all the year round. The Szechenyi Thermal bath is the largest bath complex in Budapest and has fifteen public thermal baths. Munich Residenz
It is basically the former Royal Palace of Wittelsbach Monarchs of Bavaria. Munich Residenz is also the largest city palace in the country and open to visitors for its unique room decorations, architecture, and displays from the royal collections. The buildings comprise of 10 courtyards and 130 rooms, its main three parts are- the Alte Residenz, the Konigsbau, and the Festsaalbau. Munich Residenz also houses the Herkulessaal, which is the primary concert venue of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. It further houses a number of museums and monuments, including the Treasury, the Residenz Museum, Cuvillies Theater, and the Court Churches of All Saints.
Frauenkirche
Frauenkirche- the Cathedral Church of Our Lady was completed in 1488, a Gothic Church that owes its impact on its huge size. It is one of the popular landmarks and is considered a significant symbol of the capital city of Bavarian. It features a huge twin 100-meter tall tower, which is widely visible due to the local height limits. Highlights inside the Cathedral Church include a 1620 altarpiece of Assumption by Peter Candid, the 1622 Tomb of the Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian colored in black marble with bronze figures, and the Baroque Red Marble Font in Baptistery with 14th Century Sorrowing Christ. It is one of the most-visited places in Bavaria.
Marienplatz and the Neues Rathaus
Since the foundation of the city, Marienplatz has been its central square; the site of medieval contending tournaments and where markets until 1807. In addition to the huge Neues Rathaus that fills one total side of the square, visitors can find the Altes Rathaus forms a gate at the far end. In the large open square are the Fischbrunnen and the Mariensaule. It is one of the largest public parks, located in the centre of Munich, widespread from the centre to the northeastern limits of the city. Englischer Garten was created by Sir Benjamin Thompson in 1789, which covers a total area of 910-acres and one of the most amazing parks in Munich. It comprises of naturally arranged groups of plants and trees offers breathtaking views, artificial lakes are instances of the natural landscape. Englischer Garten was designed as a military garden that attracts joggers and cyclists, it is also a lovely place to enjoy a picnic and sunbathe. Nymphenburg Palace
It is a Baroque Palace in the capital city of Bavaria, Southern Germany. In the 17th Century, Nymphenburg Palace was the summer residence of the Wittelsbach Electors. Widespread over 600-meters from wing to wing, this big palace is surrounded by Nymphenburg Canal that splits as it passes around the main buildings before again reuniting in a pool. Asamkirche
Asamkirche is also known as Asam Church, which is a Baroque Church in Munich constructed from 1733 to 1746 as a private church by sculptor Egid Quirin Asam and painter Cosmas Damian Asam. Asamkirche is assessed to be one of the most significant buildings of Late Baroque. It is highly decorated with frescoes, stucco figures, oil paintings, and its interior is rich enough that is vertically divided into two parts. Altar is positioned in the west, unlike east as usual church's altar is positioned. Highlight of this church include a wrought-iron grille, magnificent fresco portrays the life of St. John, and glass shrine contains a wax figure of the patron saint of Asam Church.
Peterskirche
It is commonly known as St. Peter’s Church, which is the oldest parish church in Munich and standing on Petersberg. Peterskirche is constructed in the year 1386 in Gothic style, was converted with the addition of a Baroque choir with three apses in 1636, the tower was changed to a lantern dome with Gothic spires. Interior highlights of the ancient Church include Erasmus Grasser’s red marble monuments, Hans Krumper’s Hans, and 15th Century Schrenk Altar with Crucifixion sculptures and the Last Judgement. Take a glance at the 20-meter tall high altar with the Four Fathers of the Church and St. Peter’s figure. Hence, the 299-step tower is popular for its eight clock faces similar to eight bells, situated at a height of 91 meters and offers scenic views as well.
Deutsches Museum
It is the world’s largest museum of science and technology, situated in Munich, Deutsches Museum featured nearly 2800 exhibited objects from 50 distinct fields of science and technology, ranges from polished brass and wood of early astronomical instruments to the latest issue of global warming. Founded on June 28, 1903, Deutsches Museum is the largest museum in the capital city of Bavarian. It receives over 1.5 million visitors annually. It is also a steady time travel between early tech to high tech, following the development of each technical and scientific discipline from starting to the present. Deutsches Museum has two branches in and near Munich and Bonn.
BMW Museum
It is basically an automobile museum of BMW history, situated near the Olympiapark in Germany’s Munich. BMW Museum was established in 1973, after the opening of the Summer Olympics. Inside the museum, BMW lovers and car enthusiast will find instances of around all the models BMW has made, including racing models, sports cars, and motorcycles. Visitors can also see current BMW models and gather knowledge about the technology of modern automobile construction and explore the future propulsion designs and technologies the world-renowned automobile company is going to introduce. After the renovation, BMW Museum was reopened in June 2008 and now this destination became a must-visited place for car lovers.
Olympic Park
It is basically a sports campus developed for hosting the Olympic Games. Olympic Park typically contains the International Broadcast Centre and the Olympic Stadium. It covers an area of over 2.7 million square meters and was a training ground for the Royal Bavarian Army. Now it became a major recreational center, which hosts a variety of major events and con concerts, including the summer Tollywood Festival. A number of family activities have been included since the Olympics, including ziplining, stadium roof climb, and tours showcasing the facility of splendid design and architecture. It is one of the most-visited places to visit in Munich.
MuseumsQuartier
Conveniently located all in one small area, Vienna’s MuseumsQuartier houses most of the must-see museums in the old Hapsburgian Imperial stables of all places. The top finds here are the Art History Museum (Kunsthistorisches Museum), the Natural History Museum (Naturhistorisches Museum) and the Leopold Museum with the world’s most extensive Schiele collection. If modern art is your thing, you can’t go past the MUMOK (Museum of Modern Art) filled with 20th and 21st-century contemporary art, including an extensive collection of nouveau realism and pop art. If you tire of some of the significant art collections, you can find plenty of designer boutiques and trendy bars in the surrounding nearby backstreets.
The Hofburg
For more than six centuries the seat of the Habsburgs - and the official residence of every Austrian ruler since 1275 - the Hofburg is perhaps the most historically significant of Vienna's palaces. The official seat of the Austrian President, this sprawling complex consists of numerous buildings reflecting various periods, including architectural flourishes from the Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Rococo movements. The complex covers 59 acres with 18 groups of buildings, including 19 courtyards and 2,600 rooms. Its main attractions are the Imperial Apartments, the Sisi Museum, and the Silver Collection, while other notable sites within the complex include the Imperial Chapel (Burgkapelle) and the Hofburg Treasury.
Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens
The spectacular 18th-century Schönbrunn Palace (Schloss Schönbrunn) is worth visiting not only for its magnificent architecture, but also for its beautiful park-like setting. One of Vienna's top tourist attractions, this Baroque palace contains more than 1,441 rooms and apartments, including those once used by Empress Maria Theresa. Tour highlights include a chance to see the Imperial Apartments, including Emperor Franz Joseph's Walnut Room and his Bedroom, which still has the small soldier's bed in which he died. Of Empress Maria Theresa's rooms, highlights include her richly furnished and decorated garden apartments, along with her Breakfast Room with its floral artwork created by her daughters. Schönbrunn Park and Gardens is another must- see here, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
St. Stephen's Cathedral
Vienna's most important Gothic edifice and the cathedral church of the archbishopric since 1722, St. Stephen's Cathedral (Stephansdom) sits in the historic center of Vienna. The original 12th- century Romanesque church was replaced by a Late Romanesque one in the 13th century, the remains of which are the massive gate and the Heathen Towers (Heidentürme). Next came reconstruction in the Gothic style in the 14th century, along with the addition of the choir and the chapels of St. Eligius, St. Tirna, and St. Catherine, while the famous 137-meter high South Tower (Steffl) belongs to the 15th-century.
The Spanish Riding School
Dating back to the time of Emperor Maximilian II, the superb Spanish Riding School was established after the ruler had the famous Lipizzaner horses introduced to his courtesans in 1562. Today, it's one of Vienna's leading attractions, thrilling audiences with fabulous displays of equestrian skills in the Baroque Winter Riding School in the grounds of the Hofburg Palace, where it has been located since 1735. Tickets to performances sell quickly, so be sure to book as far in advance as possible.
Vienna Zoo
The origins of the Vienna Zoo (Tiergarten Schönbrunn) can be traced to Emperor Francis I's menagerie, founded in 1752 and the oldest zoo in the world. With many of its original Baroque buildings still intact, it's one of the most pleasant zoos in Europe to visit, particularly if you spend a little time seeking refreshment in the original 18th-century Imperial Breakfast Pavilion that now houses a great café. A highlight of the zoo's more than 750 species are its giant pandas, including cubs, as well as the many fascinating creatures housed in the interactive Rainforest House and Aquarium.
Prater Park and the Giant Ferris Wheel
Visiting the Prater, a large natural park between the Danube and the Danube Canal, is a little like stepping into another world. Covering an area of 3,200 acres, this vast park - once a royal hunting ground - has long been one of Vienna's most popular recreation areas. There's something here for everyone, from thrills and spills in the Wurstel area with its old-fashioned theme park rides to dining and dancing even a dinosaur park for the kids). Vienna City Hall
Vienna's City Hall (Rathaus) is an impressive Neo-Gothic building that serves as the city's administrative center. Remarkable for its size - it occupies nearly 14,000 square meters of the former Parade Ground - this attractive building was completed in 1883 and is notable for the famous Rathausmann on top of its 98-meter high tower, a banner-carrying iron figure presented to the city as a gift from its master locksmith. The arcaded courtyard in the center of the building is the largest of seven courtyards and is used for popular summer concerts.
Karlskirche
Dedicated to St. Charles Borromeo, a saint invoked during times of plague, Karlskirche was built in 1737 and remains Vienna's most important Baroque religious building. This vast building is crowned by a magnificent 72-meter dome and is famous for its twin 33-meter Triumphal Pillars, based on Trajan's Column in Rome, with their spiraling bands depicting scenes from the life of St. Charles. Interior highlights include the fabulous frescoes of St. Cecilia. Also worth visiting is the Gardekirche, built in 1763 in the city's southern outer district as the church of the Imperial Hospital and later serving Polish congregations.
Hundertwasserhaus
Famous as Vienna's "nature and human-friendly" house, the decidedly odd Hundertwasserhaus is well worth a visit. Designed by painter Friedensreich Hundertwasser, this brightly colored landmark on the corner of Löwengasse and Kegelstrasse was completed in 1985 and its main occupants - perhaps unsurprisingly - are artists, intellectuals, and creative types (much like the architect himself). Although the brightly colored building can only be enjoyed from the outside, you can explore the nearby Kunsthaus Wien, a complex of apartments containing a terrace café where you can rest while soaking up the ambience.

Today you will board your flight to Budapest, Hungary's most visited tourist destination. On arrival, board a Cruise on the River Danube and marvel at Budapest's genuine beauty and century-old grace. Later proceed to the hotel and check-in and relax for the day. Overnight stay in Budapest.
Day 2 Guided city tour of Budapest.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
We proceed for a guided city tour of Budapest. You will pass by the Parliament building before crossing the Danube on the Margaret Bridge and driving to the Royal Castle on the Buda side of the city. Here you will have some free time to visit the Fishermen's Bastion. The tour will continue to Gillert Hill before crossing the Elisabeth Bridge, from where you drive towards the Heroes' square—passing by the opera and St. Stephen's Basilica. Later have some free time for shopping. Overnight stay in Budapest.
Day 3 Arrive in Zagreb, City tour of Zagreb. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
This morning check out from the hotel and proceed toward Zagreb! Zagreb is a diverse economic city and Croatia's capital and chief city. That has remarkable architecture, beautiful culture, and a medieval feel. On arrival, proceed for a city tour of Zagreb. See the Kaptol (the medieval part of Zagreb), the Franciscan monastery, the 13th-century Church of Saint Francis, and many more. Walking around Dolac, Zagreb's best-known farmers' market, you will admire the baroque architecture. Overnight stay in Zagreb.
Day 4 Arrive in Ljubljana, Visit Postojna Caves. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Post breakfast, check out, and embark towards Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. It is one of the most charming cities in Europe, filled with museums, theatres, historic sites, and many other attractions. On arrival, proceed to Postojna to visit Postojna caves. The Pivka River carved Postojna Cave over millions of years. See breathtaking stalagmites and Stalactites formations and enjoy a train ride inside the cave. Later continue to your hotel and check-in. Day 5 Guided city tour of Ljubljana. Funicular to Ljubljana Castle. Visit Lake Bled. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
This morning proceed for the guided city tour of Ljubljana. See its picturesque bridges across Ljubljanica, the St. Nicholas Cathedral, and the Dragon Bridge and Triple Bridges. Also, visit the Central Market at Pogacarjev Square to experience the city's energy. Later proceed next to Ljubljana Castle by enjoying the funicular to the top. It was later moved to Lake Bled. See the main attraction which surrounds Bled Island. The island has several buildings, mainly the Gothic church dedicated to the Assumption of Mary. The church has a make-a-wish bell and is frequently visited by newlyweds and other guests. Lake Bled will certainly leave you speechless since it offers various sports activities and represents a place where you can spend the most romantic moments your life. On the trip, you will walk around the lake, enjoying the fresh alpine air and watching swans and ducks at play. This morning a local guide will meet your group and take them on a half-day guided sightseeing tour of Vienna's Innere Stadt (1st District), which contains its Old Town. This entire area has been classified as an official UNESCO World Heritage Site. As a political and cultural capital for the House of Habsburg, Vienna served as the capital of the Holy Roman Empire, the Austrian Empire, and later the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The dynasty's patronage long encouraged art, music, and science, and as a result, the city of Vienna today is truly a treasure-trove of cultural attractions. Today's tour will take place inside Vienna's famed Ring. Your guide will show your group Stephansplatz, home to Vienna's iconic St. Stephen's Cathedral. You'll stroll down Karntner Strasse, Vienna's most famous shopping avenue, and see the nearby Vienna State Opera House. Continue your tour and explore Ringstrasse, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Natural History, the Hofburg, Parliament, City Hall, the Burg theater, and the University. Enjoy a walking tour with our guide, where we will visit the remarkable Prague Castle, which is said to be the giant castle in the world at about 570 meters in length and an average of about 130 meters wide. See the St. Vitus Cathedral, the seat of the Archbishop of Prague. Onto the magnificent Statue lined Charles bridge, primarily famous for the series of Baroque statues that adorn the bridge's railing, and arriving into the Old town square to witness the unique walk of the apostles at the Astronomical Clock. Day 9 Drive to Munich. Orientation tour of Munich. Visit BMW Welt. (Brefastak, Lunch, Dinner)
This morning we check out and drive to the beautiful city of Munich. Start the tour at the large square of Marienplatz, dominated by the Old and New Town Halls. Stroll through the inner city and see sites such as the Frauenkirche and the former royal palaces of the Munich Residence. Next, we visit the BMW Welt. It is a combined exhibition, delivery, and adventure museum. Immerse yourself in the variety of the BMW Group brand world. Later proceed to your hotel and check-in. Overnight stay in Munich.
Day 10 Fly back home. (Breakfast)

- Suppose we cancel your package due to any natural calamity. In that case, weather conditions, etc., Etravego.com shall strive to give you the maximum possible refund subject to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.
- If you fail to make the payment as per the schedule provided in the Proforma Invoice, Etravego.com reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to contact you. Refunds would be as per the package cancellation policy.
- Please note that if your package includes a flight from a low-cost carrier (Air Asia, Scoot Airlines, Air Arabia, Jetstar, Fly Dubai, Thai AirAsia, Air India Express, Tiger Airways), it won't include any baggage in the package. You can add the Baggage as per your requirement at an additional cost depending on the airlines and destination. Our Travel Consultant will attempt to contact you within 24 hours after the booking gets confirmed for baggage addition.
Cancellation Policy:
- The guest must give the notice to cancel the Holiday in writing or by mail to our office, and Etravego.com shall refund the tour cost after deducting the cancellation charges.
- From the booking date to 45 days before the departure date, 25 % of the package cost is chargeable.
- From 45 days to 30 days before the departure date, 50 % of the package cost is chargeable.
- From 30 days to 15/21 days before the departure date, respectively, for domestic/ international packages, 75 % of the package cost is chargeable.
- For cancellations within 15/21 days before the departure date, respectively, for domestic/ international packages,100% of the package cost is chargeable.
- In the case of cruises, 100% of the cruise cost paid will be forfeited in case of any cancellations, irrespective of the time of cancellation.
- The company reserves the right to cancel any Tour before the departure without assigning any reason. In such an event, all monies paid by the guest will be fully refunded immediately in Indian Rupees currency only, but no compensation will be payable.
